Backwoods Bed and Bath
McGregor's Landing Bed and Bath is located in northeast Iowa in the historic rivertown of McGregor, surrounded by bluffs on three sides, nestled in a valley on the Mississippi river. Here we have many old buildings, beautiful scenery and friendly people. The waterfront park on the Mississippi is less than a block away and on a quiet afternoon its not hard to sit and imagine the old steamboats paddling up and down the river.
Come and enjoy our two story wrap arounf porch, which affords a wonderful veiw of the surrounding bluffs, an especially breathtaking sight in autumn.
Our Rooms
Room 1
Room 1 includes a King Bed for $110 per night
Room 2
Room 2 is a smaller room with a Queen Bed for $90 per night but has a doorway that connects to room 5
Room 3
Room 3 is a larger room with a Queen Bed for $100 per night
Room 4
Room 4 includes a Queen Bed as well as a Twin Bed for $100 per night
Room 5
Room 5 has two Queen Beds in a room together as well as a pullout couch in the living room. This room has a full kitchenette with a full size fridge, stove top, toaster, and microwave all for $160
All rooms available are furnished with ornate Iron Bedframes, antique fixtures, and antique furniture, inspiring a mid nineteenth century feel and look. All rooms have their own entrance as well as bathrooms, television's, coffee area, wifi, small refrigerator, and heating/cooling systems.
